I'm an influencer, I have an Instagram account for my Tacoma.

What the hell was that?!
What's the deal with those people?

I'm going to build a TRD Pro Tacoma but it isn't even going to have a bed rack or roof top tent. Blasphemy I know!

Starting with an MFab Tacoma body. I don't really like double cab short beds but this is all that was available. I'm the weirdo who likes access cab long beds and that's why I have one for my 1:1 daily scaler.

Just as the final coat of primer was drying on an FJ62 I assembled for the Cruiser Gear Giveaway I started the Tacoma. No time for fingertips to heal, let's keep sanding!

Going on top of a JDModel RC4WD WHATEVERTHEHECK Desert Runner Hero Piece of Junk. I kind of hate it but I've had it forever waiting for this Tacoma. Ugh.

Yay, this will be a fun one to follow!

Shocked about the RTT omission though! Sleep in the cab?!?

This doesn't even look like a 4runner but I'm still gonna give you a great yelp review

I believe that the JD Models chassis is much faster with the Raptor body on it. Also much less likely to go off-road.

Maybe it will tow a $20k off-road trailer that?s essentially just a mattress on wheels
He sleeps in a racecar bed.
Does it have a CB radio so he can talk to other racecar beds?
Yes but only when imthatguy doesn?t forget his CB antenna.

It?s supposed to look like a Chevy Colorado. More on that below.

Faster and also more fragile.

Oops I towed a trailer with my Colorado and it bent the frame. BURN!

Looking good so far. MFab bodies are one of those things I would love to attempt but know better to leave well enough alone.

Thanks, they just take time. And when you think you?re done sanding and filling there?s another round.

Sprayed some paint yesterday. Toyota Army Green with some 2K clear. Since I paint outside I?m glad I got a chance to spray it before the weather changed. Now I can focus on getting the chassis stretched and figure out how to mount the body.

Marbles, what Marbles?
Looking great!

You obviously ignored the Harley Designs Painting tips video (a quart of orange paint and a 2" brush)

The color is reminiscent of Forest Service Green on all the USFS trucks.

Thank you.

Is he even capable of doing that?

Speaking of Forest Service. If I ever finish this build I will be painting my Dodge Power Ram that particular shade of green.
Mmmm, so smooooth!!
Oh yes almost worth the weeks of sanding.
Nicely done sir, paint came out great
Thanks!

You lick it, you bought it. Haha. Thanks!
Which 2k clear do you use. I?ve been thinking about switching over.

Spray Max in the rattle can. Once activated it's good for a couple of days. Sure lays down flat.

Darn it! It happened again!

Stance! Printing the front body mounts as I type. Here's to hopefully getting it right the first time! Not sure if I'm keeping these tires. I'd love to run something a few mm's shorter otherwise I need to do a suspension lift.

Seen a 1:1 yesterday of this n00b.
One tint darker in green and just as shiny as yours.
It only caught my attention cause of your body.
Hats off my friend, Looking very true and correct.
