Oil Drums

Makin' a batch of oil drums.

Start by eating tuna. I like the little 3-pack size cans:

Glue them together. I put sand in the bottom one for weight & cut a circular piece of styrene & glue on top.

Use styrene to make caps & prime

Paint:

Next, I'll weather & add drips & waterproof vinyl stickers.

Thanks guys! Glad you liked the Oil can thingie. I can't claim the idea for myself, got it from a guy on RCC forum, he was using potted meat which I'm not much of a fan of and I think this size tuna can looks best. Over the last 3 years, I've eaten a lot of tuna.

Here are some of the latest ones mixed in with some of my past favorites, I try to do something different each batch.

I put them out in the rocks in the spring & leave them out all summer. The waterproof vinyl sticker paper is key for wear and tear. my first batch, I didn't put sand in the bottom & they get blown over easy.

imthattunaguy, your tube has to go through customs and although I didn't put any cans in, I did send some tuna. It smelled very fresh when I mailed it... let's hope those fur trappers I sent it up river with don't get into it.
