Happened upon this rarity parked in the Pearl District the other day, while visitng a jobsite... Opel Kadett wagon! California plates, so obviosuly it runs pretty well to have gotten here. I would love something like this as a grocery-getter. The world needs more 2-door wagons.

(And yes, that's a pretty nice Mercedes W123 behind it, also a wagon, but those are a dime a dozen in Portland.)

My boss picked up a new winter project for me. He was looking for an early bronco to do a resto mod build. didn't have much luck findin the right one but he did find this little beauty. so we are going to do it for now. I do all the work and he pays all the bills. anyways an all original 1953 scout 80.

These two old beauties live in a gravel parking lot not far from my office. I never knew they were there, until I took a certain route for a walk at lunchtime. Need to go back and get some more photos...

1939 Ford billboard truck (want badly to build a scale version of this one someday)
