Off to go find a scale tree for Back Right hand corner.
Sage brush works the charm for scale and bark realism.

Dude yes. I'm extremely impressed.
Huge thanks "guy" for following along and the comments.
Very appreciated.

I did end up ordering another trench coat in states along with a pair of trousers that are both weathered,
Should help speed things along instead of waiting months on the previous orders of clothes.
Almost as expensive as tiny truck parts.
Dog order was canceled, seller can't find it message said. I'll need to serf the web again for something else....ugh!
Felling pretty good about how things are coming about and looking for my vision.
I seriously can't wait for the servo's to land and get to installing them.

I still don't like even looking at the 12 inch purchased figure let alone handling it....Doll...
I'm glad I went forth constructing from 5/16 dowel and the eye screws. It's not so disturbing to my brain.
Clothes should be large and loose fitting like in my Hobo picture instead of a buff dude in tight clothes.

Todays journeys should be
Weather and what nots the fire can and get it mounted on the stage.
Probably a few more weeds and long grass now that the terrain had 12 hours to dry and cure.
And where ever inspiration may lead me.

Nice diorama skills, figure's coming along well. Cool "fire"!
You going to hide some mechanisms in the base for movement, like his legs or something?

Thanks Fred.
It truly is disturbing to me to handle these small clothes and Like I said earlier, I don't like even looking at the Body that I originally ordered let alone handling it.
It is fun and pretty interesting though to incorporate lots of my hobbies into it.
Building the diorama brought back HO and N scale train building days.
Playing with most of the electronics from my RC plane days.
Throw in some Tiny truck details and it's all a glorious mess. ahahahahaaa
Just wish most of the rest of the orders would arrive. Trench coats, heads etc,
We no longer have a Local hobby RC store in our area for purchasing the smalls.
It's a pain.

It's slowly coming about.
I will be putting a small motor or servo under his Right foot (hid under the stage) to make his foot tap as if patiently waiting for the dogs to cook.

Servos are looking to be a few more days out on shipping along with a few of the other items ordered.
Really eager to have them on the bench so I can go forth with chest construction and head movements.
The second dog ordered was also cancelled..grief.... But I may try and have the dog head move too or sum thing....If I can find another one that don't get cancelled.
If I can even get one that's close to the original paintings look now. It may have to get changed up to a different breed.

Theirs a lot left to do on looks too.
Pants are supper stiff and need to be worked over so they relax ..shirt too.
Hope to have a worthy update in the next few day once the supplies needed land.

Tried making a face again.
Clay and some fake fur for his scruff.
Not sure if I'll use it.
Enjoy and thanks for looking.

Trench Coat came in today also.
Needs some weathering.
Pretty good Idea on how things will look though.
Needs a lot of attention to get things to look a bit better too.
Nothing really like the Norman's picture but might just work for this guy.

Ha, kind of reminds me of one of those prune face dolls! :ROFLMAO:
Not bad though, good shot. Have you looked at getting a 12" action fig head and then modding it?
Or maybe this and you can "reconstruct" his face to your liking... https://www.ebay.com/itm/294230476260

Also, popped to mind last night, some 2g linear servos could be cool to add some small/light movements too and easier to conceal
Something like this: https://www.amainhobbies.com/spektr...35mm-servo-lead-spmsh2027l/p-qeaqqquqpbzxactz

Figured I'd dig mine out and show what I've done. Mind you, haven't touched in probably like 10 years. I'd taken apart the upper body and bettered the joints in the left arm for smoother movement, and will probably try to better it. I was thinking I'd stash the servo in the abdomen, run a rod up to the head, and then some kind of paddle on the head rod where it goes through the chest so once the head turns a bit it will turn the chest a bit as well. Dang it, now you got me thinking more about this lol. Also, head I'm using is baldy on the left, the other two I'm not doing anything with, threw them in the pic in case you wanted em to dabble with one for your creation.

Thanks My friend.
Im waiting on a head that's been ordered.
I did look at the skull also when ordering, I also ordered a plain head that can be built on, It did arrive yesterday too.
I'll try my hand at another clay face maybe today.
Ive watched like 10 YouTube vids on clay modeling faces and heads but they all make it look so easy...ahahahaaa
I have 4 of the small linear servos already from crashed micro E-flight plane's. And I have pondered on how I could incorporate them.

Hope you do get back on your person project.
Tiny clothes will nickel and dime ya like tiny truck parts ahahahhahaaa:laughing:
Thanks for the offer on the little heads, Pass right now, but the left bald head is funny and should fit your build perfect.

Servo's should be here this mid week for his arms, head and what nots.
The one thing ordered I sorely need to move forward with this build.
The Y connection cables too.....
In the mean time ill run to town and get some bleach to weather the trench coat and I may try figuring out the actuator under stage to make his foot tap.
More soon.

7 Channel up grade.
Feller should be able to add lots of expo now and be busy with plenty of flipping switches.
