Hello guys and girls this will be my third attempt at a multi-axle build. It's amazing how far my skill has come injust 8 months, I think its best to try new things and push what is possible into the impossible <-- part of my favourite quotes. I truly believe bigger is better so here we go

I am making it 12x12 8 wheel steering nearly 46 inches long. I will finish this one in time for the 2012 comps so like 2-3 months time frame I'm giving myself. Same as the Ford I'm using 1/4" aluminum C-channel, Tamiya axles, Hollowpoint tires from RC4wd which by the way are on sale at the moment due to beingdiscontinued so I picked up 8 set. the wheels i am using are RPM revolvers wide wheel base, they will give the truck the stance I want and plus theres noway I can afford the alternative at 70.00 for 2 .

Working on the leaf suspension this morning before having to sleep before work, I've decided to add progress pics everytime I add the smallest thing to this build. I first made a template of the spacing between each spring bracket so that they would be even the whole length of the frame. When I look for more reference images and stuff online for this truck I can't find very much. In the blue print it looks like a rigid axle setup? Any suggestions? More to come tomorrow maybe my brushless motor will come in the mail who knows

Nice! I don't know much about big trucks but if I was reading those blueprints, I'd have to say that the 'front' image almost looks like independent suspension on air.

triple axle steering update and video

Happy Holidays guys, I've started to build my steering setup. It works fine but needs alot of tweeking, all good. I think I'm gonna drop the sail servo 1-2 inches into the frame to relieve the stress on the steering links but thats only my first idea.

good lawrd....that is cool....have you thought of using a 3 speed with this...gear it really low???
