Hi folks,

I want to present you my current project - a scratch built Step Van

My favorite is the Chevrolet / GMC version and that?s how it started:

I found an old Robbe Scania Chassis an decided to do something with it. Compared with Tamiya trucks it's a little to small so it wouldn't fit to them. Somehow i came to the famous van's

Hmmmm... nobody cares about this van :hmmm:

No matter - it goes on with the windshield frame

Cool! You should turn it into a taco truck. That's what most of them are around here, these days...

A food truck was also my first intention but I already have another idea for this van ;)

Nice start and funny project, looking forward to see how it turns

Thank you

A nice start! Are you planning on off-roading this behemoth?

Thank you  I do not intend to make an offroader out of it. The chassis is not suitable for this :ashamed:

I care! Looking great! Nice wheels and good start to the styrene!

Thank you

I'm planning an overhead door (sectional gate) and therefore I designed and printed some guide rails and some guide parts

Thank you guys

I try to give my best.

Now some interior work ;)

The inner engine cover

Then I printed a simple instrument panel and stuck some styrene pieces together

From styrene pieces and profiles, I built a pedestral for the Tamiya seat

This seat fits perfectly in my opinion

The seat has a few adjustment options: height adjustment, seat can slide and can be folded down

I also designed and printed a steering wheel

I am a little proud of the small ventilation outlets
