This is epicawesome! I love the superposed view showing how it all lines up. Looking at the X chassis, how stiff do you expect it to be? I guess with the proper infill (correct term?) the print will be quite strong? I see quite a bit of torsion forces going on with the centre tunnel part, but I'm certainly not second thinking you, just thinking out loud, I have full faith it will turn out perfect ::2thumbs

I have no clue how stiff it will be in the end once all the floor panels and other stuff is bolted on. But I'm not worried at all. This won't be a performance driven build and a car. I'll say that the possible massive flex just adds more character and driving joy.
All the parts will be SLS printed in nylon, perhaps even the body too.

Here's my accumulation of parts for this car. I really like how small the Xray and Xpress ball ends are. They are perfect for these scale builds. A bit expensive though.

Great looking gather up.
I really like the drive line.
Going to be a most awesome beautiful car.

Thanks Beers!

I now have the basic body model and I'm currently working on the chassis/floor plates. Also been finishing up the main pieces to get them ready for printing. I hope to place an order within few weeks.

I have now the first batch of parts on order. Chassis, wheels, transmission, diff and suspension. I should get them in two weeks or so. Price was really nice. Got a hefty 40% discount, again. Also a pile of M2 and M2.5 screws are coming.

I know the feeling of getting new printed parts in the mail! :D
I'm always both excited and nervous. Excited to see designs come to life and nervous if I've missed or forgot some major detail, and if the parts fit is good. And there was again some issues with the bearing holes. Most of them are too loose but some are fine. I used a bit tighter fit than before but they still came loose. Next time I think it's best to not have any extra for bearings. But the looseness is easily fixed with a layer or two of clear tape around the bearing.

I've been waiting some more parts and hardware. Update should come in few days.
And somehow I thiught that I need to start another project. MacGyver jeep. That has taken some of my focus too. I'll star a thread on that when I have something to show.
