in 1 garage and set up the scale building in the other (hehe that's got ducted AC ) even the wife had the same idea and that was a shock to me

Total Noob but trying.
Never thought I would be lucky enough to see a Holden get the scale treatment but a tow truck makes it more impressive. The 2 models you have in the pics, the first one looks like a HQ Premiere front end but what is the second one?
Great looking build by the way. Makes me want to drop the Jeep Comanche I am working on and build an Overlander.

I learned to drive in a '73 HQ Belmont and had a '75 Kingswood for while. Always wanted a ute though.
I look forward to watching this build.

Very nice!! Not sure how I missed this thread, just found it now. Are you set on which wheels and tires you will be using? These looks already perfect size and perfectly fine by the way so no real reason to be changing them, unless you are looking for another look.

If these Tamiya wheels and tires looks this size, it means the model is quite big! So most on-road car tires and wheels I suspect will be way too small (for instance HPI vintage). I guess on-road tires intended for trucks would should provide good options though.

Yer i kinda did build it to suit the wheel size , and yes the hq is very big .
For time being its going to be just a roller as i dont have enough bits to get it runningbut its going to be hitched up to the K30 duel cab wrecker on sundays run / meet.
